How to make a comeback

Build in Silence Don’t broadcast your progress. Let results do the talking when the time comes. 1. Define the “Comeback” Ask yourself: What are you coming back from ? (e.g., burnout, failure, bad habits, social loss, financial problems) What are you coming back to ? (e.g., a new career, inner peace, fitness, intellectual sharpness) 🎯 Clarity = Direction. Define what success will look like after your comeback. 2. Re-emerge with Intent When you’ve rebuilt your knowledge, confidence, and momentum: Reconnect with people from a position of strength. Apply for new roles, launch your idea, share your knowledge. Speak from experience , not opinion. ⚔️ The comeback hits harder when no one sees it coming. Start by planning out how you are going to handle your time- your financial, spiritual, mental, and physical goals; here is my list, you can copy and paste and ask these questions for yourself What is my goal for the year, next 6 months, and next few weeks How...

Rejection: The Ultimate “Not Today”

We’ve all been there — a job application gets passed over or maybe you just gave your best pitch to that one person at the party, only for them to look at you like you’re speaking a different language. Rejection can feel like the universe is giving you a giant Nope, and it stings. But here’s the thing: rejection doesn’t mean you’re not valuable. In fact, it’s just God’s way of saying, “Not this time, but I’ve got something better in store for you.” Let’s be real. It’s hard not to let rejection hit your confidence. It’s like showing up at your friend’s party wearing the best outfit, only to realize you’re the only one who read the invite wrong — it’s a costume party and you’re in a regular T-shirt. But does that mean you’re suddenly less amazing? Absolutely not. Remember, the Bible reminds us of how much we are chosen and loved, even when we face setbacks. One of my favorite verses is from 1 Peter 2:9: “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s sp...

Slow Down!

Slowing Down: Finding Peace in the Midst of Chaos In the whirlwind of our daily lives, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of work, school, family obligations, and endless to-do lists. We rush from one task to the next, thinking that the faster we go, the more we will accomplish. But in the process, we often lose sight of what truly matters: peace, reflection, and our connection with God. Lately, I’ve been feeling overwhelmed by everything I "should" be doing. I feel like I’m constantly on the go, running from one thing to another, without ever taking a moment to just breathe. But here’s the thing: the faster we go, the more we miss out on. We miss out on the small moments of joy, the quiet time of reflection, and the opportunities to grow spiritually. The Bible reminds us that we don’t have to rush through life. In fact, we’re encouraged to slow down, rest, and trust in God’s timing. One verse that has been a reminder to me in these moments is: ...

The heart

In a world obsessed with the latest trends, celebrities, and how many likes your avocado toast gets, it’s easy to forget one of life’s most essential truths: what matters is the heart . I’m talking about the metaphorical heart—the one that’s the seat of love and kindness You see, it doesn’t matter if you’ve got the latest smartphone, the sleekest car, or a closet full of high-fashion clothing. If your heart isn’t in the right place, then, well, your Instagram followers might still love you, but your neighbors probably won’t. The Heart, The Real MVP If you've ever had a bad day and received a warm hug, a kind word, or just someone genuinely listening to you, you know what I mean. That’s the magic of the heart. It’s the stuff that doesn’t come with a price tag but can be more valuable than the fanciest gold-plated watch. The heart is the glue that holds us all together.  Imagine a world where people smiled just because, offered help without being asked, and took the time to actu...

Your Most Valuable Asset

Peace:  In a world that constantly demands your attention, peace can feel like a rare commodity. But peace isn’t something that just happens —it’s something you protect .  Step one: Create boundaries. Learn the power of the word "no." No, you don't have to take on other people's chaos. No, you don’t need to be everywhere or do everything. You don’t owe your peace to anyone else. Step two: Focus on what you can control. Newsflash: You can’t control everyone’s actions or the drama that swirls around you. But you can control your reactions-- and you can take a step bqack, a breathe, and walk away. You choose where you choose to spend your emotional energy. Don’t waste it on things you can’t change. Step three: Let go. The past? Gone. The future? Not here yet. Peace lives in the present moment. So when you find yourself obsessing over past mistakes or worrying about what’s next, bring your attention back to right now. Take a deep breath, let go, and be still....

FOMO

FOMO: The Freedom of Letting Go FOMO – the Fear of Missing Out – is like an invisible leash, pulling us towards everyone else’s plans, parties, and perfect moments. It’s that nagging feeling that if you’re not keeping up, you’re somehow falling behind. But here’s the kicker: once you embrace the simple truth that others can do their thing without it being a personal loss, you unlock a secret to freedom. The world is full of infinite activities, experiences, and opportunities – so it’s impossible to do it all. And that’s okay. By letting go of the pressure to be everywhere and do everything, you make room to actually enjoy the moments that are yours. Instead of chasing after someone else’s adventure, you’re free to create your own. It’s a paradox. The more you let others live their lives, the more you can live yours. And when you stop comparing, that’s when you really start living – free from the constant pull of FOMO. So go ahead, let everyone else do their thing. You’ll be ...

Behind the Highlights: When the Real Work Happens Off-Screen

Scroll through any social media feed, and it’s easy to believe that life is one big highlight reel. From perfect vacation snapshots to effortlessly perfect outfits, people seem to have it all together—capturing only the best moments. But behind those polished clips and carefully curated photos lies the unseen work—the grind, the struggle, and the quiet miracles that don’t make it into the frame. Social media has become a stage for showcasing the best of our lives, but the magic often happens off-screen. It’s in the long hours of preparation, and the unseen effort that leads to success. The breakthroughs—the “breaking” moments we see—are often the result of countless unseen hours where patience, faith, and persistence do the heavy lifting. This is where something deeper happens, where  God’s miracles  quietly unfold. It’s in the moments when no one is watching, work we do in silence or face adversity head-on, that true growth and transformation take place. It’s not the per...
